Spring Term 2018
This term we will be taking a step back in time and learning about Ancient Egypt. Who was Tutankhamun? We will be delving deep into the relics of the Great Pyramid to find out – we will even carry out some mummification processes of our own at the Dorman Museum! We will be examining Ancient Egyptian artefacts and learning about how we can learn so much about our past from them.
We will also be writing poems and stories, using hieroglyphics and creating our own Egyptian replica jewelry. Later in the term we will looking at Egypt today and seeing how it has changed since ancient times.
